Laboratory Research Course
SUBJECT The Laboratory Research Course ~Frontiers of Biological Science~
HOURS / CREDIT 30 hours / 1 credit

OVERVIEW Students will be introduced to the frontiers of bioscience by experts from the agricultural field and will gain advanced skills and knowledge through laboratory work.
SYLLABUS The course is divided in to two parts:
Weeks 1: An overview of the current frontiers in Veterinary Science, Fisheries Science, Bioengineering, Animal Breeding and Genetics, Forestry, Crop Science, Agricultural Engineering, and Sitology
Week 2 & 3:
Students will research and perform laboratory experiments on a theme given by the instructor.
Students are expected to attend every class and to complete a paper.
TEXTBOOK There is no set textbook for this course. Required readings will be distributed at the first class meeting.
