OVERVIEW | Students will be introduced to the frontiers of bioscience by experts from the agricultural field and will gain advanced skills and knowledge through laboratory work. |
SYLLABUS | The course is divided in to two parts: Weeks 1: An overview of the current frontiers in Veterinary Science, Fisheries Science, Bioengineering, Animal Breeding and Genetics, Forestry, Crop Science, Agricultural Engineering, and Sitology Week 2 & 3: Students will research and perform laboratory experiments on a theme given by the instructor. Students are expected to attend every class and to complete a paper. |
TEXTBOOK | There is no set textbook for this course. Required readings will be distributed at the first class meeting. |
